Murder accused shot dead in Exuma

NASSAU- Police are investigating after a man in his 20s was found shot to death through a track road in Rolleville Exuma on Thursday night.

The victim 22-year-old Malik Fernander was on bail pending his trial for the February 16, 2018 murders of Rashad Bethel and D’Siorn Symonette as well as the attempted murder of Roland Brown in Pinewood Gardens.

In August, a Supreme Court judge varied Fernander’s bail conditions to permit him to relocate to Exuma to seek employment. Fernander lived in Kemp Road while in New Providence.
