NASSAU – A man whose father was murdered when he was 12 years old has met the same tragic end.
Police opened a murder investigation following the discovery of Omar Davis Jr’s decomposing body in a black Honda Fit around 5 pm on Tuesday, August 16.
The car was parked in the back of Centreville Food Store.
Davis had multiple wounds to the head and chest and was stuffed in a garbage bag.
His father was a drug dealer who was murdered in front of the family’s Kemp Road home on June 1, 2013.
Despite being exposed to the criminal activity as a child, Davis Jr appeared to have beaten the odds.
In 2018, he graduated as the valedictorian of C.I. Gibson High School and he received a full scholarship to Central State University in Ohio.
He recently graduated with a double degree in accounting and economics.
Anyone with information that could help police solve this crime should call the police at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers at 328-8477.
This is not a good story headline title and he was not shot 🥱
