Drug suspect murdered day after release on bail

NASSAU- An accused drug dealer was murdered one day after he was released on bail.

McKenzy Oscar, otherwise known as Squid, was shot multiple times in the head near his clothing shop Exclusive Armoire on Wright’s Lane around 6pm on March 22.

Police believe the 30-year-old resident of Cable Beach, controlled marijuana sales through Thompson Lane—the scene of three recent murders.

Officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit raided Oscar’s shop on March 18.

They allegedly found a handgun and a marijuana while executing the search warrant.

He pleaded not guilty and was given bail pending his trial.

Oscar also had several other pending gun cases.
