NASSAU- Two men are facing child rape charges after prosecutors say they abused two young girls in separate incidents.
Prosecutors say Kenold Romain, 39, of Lazaretto Road, sexually abused a nine-year-old girl in September and November of 2021.
Romain, of Cowpen Road, was not to enter a plea to two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans on Friday, February 11.
Meanwhile, Tracy Neymour, 20, appeared in the same court on accusations that he molested a 12-year-old girl on February 9.
Like Romain, Neymour did not have to enter a plea to the charge of unlawful sexual intercourse.
Both men were denied bail and will return to court on April 21. On that date, prosecutors intend to fast-track their cases to the Supreme Court for trial.
