NASSAU- A man caught on camera stealing two bottles of liquor has been remanded to prison pending sentencing on November 29.
Police arrested Cody Rahming soon after surveillance footage of the November 23 theft from Base Road Wholesale Bar went viral.
Rahming stuffed a 40-ounce bottle of Ciroc and Jack Daniels into his pants before leaving the bar.
Rahming pleaded guilty to stealing at his arraignment before Magistrate Kendra Kelly.
He asked the court for a second chance.
According to him, he sold the stolen liquor to buy food.
Rahming said that after being released from prison he stayed at a motel. However, he ended up on the streets after he couldn’t pay for his room.
Magistrate Kelly told Rahming that his situation didn’t justify his actions.
