Third suspect in Crown Land scam surrenders

NASSAU- A third suspect in the Crown Land fraud scheme is now in police custody.

Darshanna Robinson, 51, surrendered to police on Thursday after police circulated a wanted bulletin for her.

Investigators believe that Robinson participated in a scheme to sell Crown Land.

Earlier this week, Robinson’s alleged accomplices Hertha Jenkins and Dawson Bullard denied the allegations.

They are accused of fraudulently getting money from Crown Land applicants and issuing them forged letters from the Department of Lands and Surveys in an attempt to steal property that belongs to The Bahamas government.
