Bimini – A man is in serious condition in hospital after he was shot in the chest in Bimini today.
The victim, identified as 23-year-old Kyas Duncombe, was shot during an altercation with another man in Porgy Bay around 1pm.
Duncombe was airlifted to New Providence for further medical care.
He’s no stranger to the courts. Duncombe, a former fugitive, was freed on bail shortly after he was charged with the 2017 Grand Bahama murders of Joseph Bain and Stephon Lafrance this June.
In September, Duncombe was accused of shooting into a car at Bimini Bay endangering the lives of Kareem Chea, Carlos Saunders and Kimani Dottin.
Duncombe is also on bail for that case.
