MARSH HARBOUR, ABACO – Police have charged three men with a bump-and-rob incident in Abaco.
The charge comes after Adlin Demosthene 2007 Honda Accord was hit from behind around 9:40pm on December 3 on Murphy Town Drive.
When he got out of the vehicle to check the damage, Demosthene was robbed at gunpoint.
One of the culprits drove off in Demosthene’s car that had $1,400 in the glove compartment. Police recovered the stolen car, minus the money a short time later.
Prosecutors say Murphy Town residents Andre “Moe” Kikivarakis, 22; Raheem McBride, 28, and Clarence “CJ” North, are behind the incident.
They were not required to enter a plea to the armed robbery charge when they appeared before Magistrate Ancella Evans on Wednesday.
Prosecutors plan to fast-track the case to the Supreme Court by a voluntary bill of indictment on February 25, 2021.
The suspects have been remanded to prison.
