Woman granted bail in domestic violence case

NASSAU- A woman accused of pouring boiling water on the father of her children as he slept has been granted $6,000 bail.

As a condition of her bail, Lasade Rolle, 32, will leave the home that she shared with her alleged victim at Quarry Mission Road on the November 17 incident.

She also has to report to the Quakoo Street Police Station once a week.

The man sustained burns to 17 percent of his body. The incident was allegedly payback for a domestic incident on November 16 when the man ripped out Rolle’s hair braids.

Rolle next returns to court in January 26 for her trial before Magistrate Kendra Kelly.

Sergeant 260 Vernon Pyfrom is the prosecutor and Glenda Roker represents Rolle.
