NASSAU- Police have charged a teen who they say cut off a motorist and gunned him down.
Randy Mackey, 18, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt today charged with the March 9 murder of Renardo Morley.
Police said the 19-year-old was headed east along Sugar Apple Street in Pinewood Gardens when a car pulled across his Honda Accord, forcing him to stop.
A gunman opened fire into Morley’s car. He died at the scene.
Soon after the incident, police issued a wanted poster for Mackey. He surrendered to police over the weekend.
Mackey was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge at today’s court appearance.
Mackey has been denied bail and will return to court on June 17.
