NASSAU- A suspect will appear before a magistrate in New Providence today in relation to the shooting of two police officers in Abaco.
Chief Superintendent Wendell Smith and Corporal Andre Linden were shot in an ambush while responding to a domestic complaint in Pelican Shores on November 24.
The officers returned fire, hitting the suspect Marty Sawyer in the neck.
The officers and Sawyer were airlifted to New Providence for further medical care.
