Police: Gunman shoots accomplice during robbery

ABACO- A bungling gunman shot his accomplice during a hold-up at a gas station in Abaco on Christmas Eve.

Two gunmen dressed in dark clothing robbed the employees of a gas station in Dundas Town around 6am, police said.

Police said one of the gunmen ended up accidentally shooting his partner when he gun butted the gas station’s manager.

The robbers, who are both described as about 5-feet, 5 inches and slim, fled—and the injured robber left a trail of blood behind.

Meanwhile, the gas station’s manager was taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic for treatment for head injuries. He is in stable condition.
