NASSAU- No charges have been filed in the case of police officer who shot and killed his stepson.
The circumstances surrounding the October 6 shooting will be determined by a coroner’s jury.
According to police reports, the shooting victim allegedly put a knife to his mother’s throat during an argument at their apartment on St. Alban’s Drive.
Her husband, a policeman, allegedly went to investigate the disturbance. The officer called police, but he had already shot his stepson with his service revolver before the policemen sent to investigate arrived.
