NASSAU-A mother accused of failing to alert authorities after her boyfriend allegedly indecently assaulted her child has been freed on bail pending trial.
Prosecutors allege that Jaydon Pierre, 28, knew about the alleged incident on July 30 — but did nothing about it.
She is accused of failing to report the abuse of the 11-year-old girl.
Meanwhile, the boyfriend Dereck Colebrooke, 31, is accused of indecently assaulting two girls, ages 11 and 13.
He’s also accused of the assault of the 13-year-old.
Colebrooke and Pierre denied the accusations against them at their arraignment.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes set the case for trial on November 25.
He released Pierre on $1,500 bail. The court set Colebrooke’s bail at $5,000 on the condition that he has no contact with his alleged victims.
