Manager accused of stealing from Fresh Market

NASSAU- A woman has been charged after her bosses accused her of stealing over $1,300.

Prosecutors say Esther Joseph, 35, of South Beach, tried to cover up the theft from Solomon’s Fresh Market in Old Fort Bay by falsifying records last March.

Joseph, a former front end manager at the store, is accused of stealing $883.93 on March 15. She allegedly stole $447.43 on March 18.

Joseph denied charges of stealing by reason of employment at her arraignment.

She was freed on $2,000 bail and is next due in court on June 16.
