NASSAU- A wanted murder suspect has been charged two years after he allegedly killed a father in front of his children in 2018.
Kyle Hepburn, 32, of Sea Breeze, made his first court appearance today on murder and attempted murder charges after he was deported from the U.S. on October 6.
Prosecutors say that Hepburn shot and killed Wilton Brown during an attempted hold-up outside his home in Hollywood Subdivision on June 9, 2018.
Brown was in the car with his young children when he was shot by a gunman, who had followed him home.
Hepburn wasn’t required to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
He was denied bail and returns to court on December 8.
