NASSAU- A pervert who pulled a six-year-old into bushes and French kissed him has been jailed for nine months.
Shervin Colebrooke, 25, also has to pay $500 in restitution to the victim’s mother to avoid spending an extra month in prison.
The money is for any future counseling the indecent assault victim might need.
The trial was supposed to begin on January 25 before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.
But Colebrooke changed his plea to guilty before any of the witnesses testified.
Colebrooke faced a maximum of three years’ imprisonment for his crime.
However, Cooebrooke didn’t get the maximum penalty because he didn’t go to trial and he has no prior convictions of a similar nature.
