Nassau, BAHAMAS- A man who was 43 years old when he indecently assaulted his eight-year-old neighbour has been jailed for four years.
The man, 45, pleaded guilty to the charge in the middle of his trial.
He faced a potential maximum sentence of 10 years’ imprisonment.
The victim went to the man’s home to play with his daughter, and the convict suggested a game of hide and seek.
He sent his daughter outside and suggested that the young victim hide in the bedroom.
There, he blindfolded her with a head cloth. The child said the man unzipped his pants and stroked her hand against his genitals for several minutes.
