NASSAU- A man was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night.

Police have not released the name of the victim, who died in hospital.

The shooting happened around 9pm on December 7 at Spence Street in the Mason’s Addition area.

Police said the victim was outside with others when someone in a passing car began shooting, hitting him multiple times.

While on their way to the scene, the officers encountered a speeding truck. They stopped the truck driver and saw the gunshot victim on the bed of the truck.
