Man denies death threat in row over parking

NASSAU-A man accused of threatening to kill a woman over a parking spot was denied bail on Friday.

Prosecutors allege that Ryan Delva made the threat when he asked Allison Adderley to move her car, which was parked in front of his home.

She was next door attending a funeral repast for her husband’s aunt. Delva allegedly went onto the property demanding that she move the car.

Delva, of Garden View Estates, denied the claim at his arraignment before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.

Prosecutors will have to prove the claim when the case goes to trial on September 3.

Delva will remain in custody unless he gets bail in the Supreme Court.

On Thursday, D’angelo Adderley admitted to punching Delva in the eye in the row over the parked car.

Adderley pleaded guilty to causing harm at his arraignment before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.

He received a conditional discharge. Magistrate Forbes ordered Adderley to attend anger management classes for 12 months. He’ll spend six months in prison if he doesn’t comply.
