NASSAU-A man accused of threatening a police officer on Facebook has been denied bail pending trial.
Zhivargo Rolle, of Palm Tree Avenue, is accused threatening Inspector Renaldo Burrows and his family on Facebook messenger on July 25.
Prosecutors say Rolle misused the telecommunications system by using his cellphone to make the threatening posts.
Additionally, Rolle is accused threatening to kill Inspector Burrows and Sherika Burrows on the same date.
Rolle denied the allegations at his arraignment before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
Rolle’s trial is scheduled for October 20. He’ll remain in custody until his trial unless a Supreme Court judge grants him bail.
