NASSAU -A Harbour Island resident has been charged with the murder of a man on the island.
Clarington Bowleg, 29, of Barrack Street, is accused of the February 5 murder of Anthony Petit.
Officers met Petit, 37, of Nassau, lying dead in the street when they responded to reports of a shooting.
Bowleg did not have enter a plea to the murder charge when he made his first court appearance before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
Bowleg has denied bail and he returns to court on April 30.
