NASSAU- A man on bail for murder and attempted murder is back behind bars on new charges.
Mario Cuffe appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt on January 16 charged with the murder of Travon Joseph and the attempted murder of Nelson Adderley.
Prosecutors say Cuffe was one of two gunmen who shot the men outside a home on Key West Street on December 30, 2022.
Joseph died in hospital the following day and Adderley recovered.
Cuffe was not required to enter pleas to the charges, and he was remanded to prison until April 4.
However, he can seek bail in the Supreme Court.
Cuffe was on Supreme Court bail for the June 24, 2021 fatal shooting of Gladstone Francis and the attempted murder of Savanna Francis when prosecutors say he killed Joseph and tried to kill Adderley.
