Nassau, BAHAMAS- A man has been granted $12,000 bail after being accused of attempted rape.
Police arrested 50-year-old Nicholas Knowles after a 20-year-old woman alleged that he tried to rape her while giving her a ride.
The incident allegedly took place on August 1.
Knowles, of Yamacraw Hill Road, spent two weeks on remand at the prison before he appeared for a bail hearing in the Supreme Court.
