
NASSAU- A man allegedly threatened to kill his girlfriend while brandishing a box cutter.
David Cornish, appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney charged with assault with a deadly weapon and threatens of death.
The incidents allegedly happened between January 9 and 10.
Cornish, who’s out on bail for attempted murder, pleaded not guilty.
McKinney remanded Cornish to prison until February 1 for a bail hearing.
The attempted murder case stems from a domestic dispute in February 2017.
Sergeant 933 Capron and his wife Corporal 2722 Demetria Capron were investigating a domestic dispute on Johnson Terrace when Cornish allegedly shot them.
The officers returned fire and hit Cornish in the leg.
