NASSAU- A 33-year-old man is accused of repeatedly molesting his friend’s daughter.
Vakeito Ferguson, of Windsor Place, was arrested after the 13-year-old girl told her father about the alleged abuse.
Prosecutors allege that Ferguson betrayed his friend’s trust by molesting the girl during the months of March, May and June.
Ferguson, a security guard, appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain today charged with three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse.
He did not have to enter pleas to the charges.
Prosecutors intend to fast-track the case to the Supreme Court for trial by presenting a voluntary bill of indictment.
Magistrate Swain denied Ferguson bail; however, she advised him of his right to apply for bail in the Supreme Court.
