NASSAU- Police have charged a man who they say raped a woman after giving her a ride.
Prosecutors say 26-year-old Patrick Lewis raped the 31-year-old woman on November 25.
Lewis didn’t have to enter a plea to the rape charge when he appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.
He was remanded to prison and will have to seek bail in the Supreme Court.
Lewis is next due in court in February 2023.
