NASSAU- A man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend in 2020 has been granted bail.
Barry Swain Jr was charged with manslaughter in Angelita Pritchard’s death.
Pritchard, a mother-of-seven, was found strangled to death in her home in Crown Haven, Abaco on December 26, 2020.
Swain does not have a trial date, as his matter isn’t before the Supreme Court.
Prosecutors have missed four scheduled dates to serve Swain with a voluntary bill of indictment, which would commit him to stand trial.
Justice Gregory Hilton set Swain’s bail at $15,000 on Thursday.
The prosecution did not object to his release.
Christina Galanos represents Swain.
