NASSAU-A 43-year-old man accused of the indecent assault of a child has been denied bail.
Prosecutors say Timothy Mario Jones, of United Estates, San Salvador, inappropriately touched the girl, aged eight, on March 1.
Jones did not enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
He’ll enter a plea once the case is sent to the Supreme Court. That will happen when Jones receives a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI) on October 26.
The magistrate denied bail. However, Jones can apply for bail in the Supreme Court.
