Nassau, Bahamas – A landlady is accused of entering her tenant’s apartment and stealing her belongings.
Prosecutors say Desiree Bain, 57, broke into the apartment in Garden Hills while her tenant, Lashan Fox-Munnings, was away.
Bain is accused of illegally entering the apartment between January 7 through 11 and stealing clothing and other items, valued at $5,090.55.
Bain denied charges of housebreaking and stealing at her arraignment on January 17.
She was granted $7,000 bail and will return to court for trial on March 8.
