Judge denies bail for accused revenge shooter

NASSAU- A businessman man who live-streamed himself carrying out a revenge shooting remains in prison after a judge labeled him a flight risk.

London Rahming, 25, filmed himself shooting at the Jerome Avenue home of Renaldo Georges on March 14.

In the video, Rahming shouts “turn yourself in” before firing several rounds at the home from a handgun. No one was injured.

In 2018, a jury acquitted Georges of abetment to murder and acting an as accessory after the fact in the murder of Rahming’s brother, Leo Rahming, who shot dead at his Marathon Road car wash on May 4, 2017.

Following the video, police charged Rahming with the attempted murders of the occupants of the home: Renaldo Georges, Evene Georges and Gerriah Adderley.
He was also charged with possessing a handgun with the intention of endangering their lives.

Rahming has been denied bail on the grounds that there is a likelihood he will abscond given the evidence against him.

Rahming faces a potential maximum sentence of life imprisonment if convicted.

Meanwhile, a psychiatrist who examined Rahming at the prison said he’s fit to plead, despite finding that he suffers from drug induced psychosis.

Rahming is next due to return to court on August 3 to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
