Nassau – A jealous man could go to jail for a year after he posted an explicit photo of his estranged wife on social media.
Travis Hart, 28, posted the raunchy photo soon after he stole the woman’s cellphone on December 21.
Prosecutors said Hart’s intention was to expose the woman to public ridicule.
Hart admitted to deliberately posting the nude that showed the woman’s face on her Facebook page after he changed her password.
In court, Hart claimed his wife left him a year ago, abandoning their children aged three and five.
He accused the woman of selling her body for $150.
Despite his allegations, Hart said he was still head over heels for his wife.
Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux sentenced Hart to probation for one year. She warned him he would spend one year in prison if he violated his probation.
