NASSAU- A cop accused of setting up the murder of his romantic rival will appear before a judge on December 19 seeking bail.
Corporal Darren Davis, a 25-year veteran of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, was formally charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the December 3, shooting death of Jayson Whitfield on December 12.
He was found with multiple gunshots to the head in Garden Hills.
Prosecutors say Davis set up the murder with his cousin, Stephon Davis, who is on bail for two murders.
Investigators are still looking for the shooter.
