NASSAU- A 59-year-old man charged with sexually assaulting a teenage boy has been denied bail.
Williams Davis faces a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old boy, who couldn’t give legally consent. The age of consent for homosexual sex is 18.
Prosecutors said the incident took place between October and December 2020.
Davis was not required to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
His next court appearance is set for March 23.
