Bahamians held in Jamaica over $2.6m ganja seizure

Jamaican narcotics police arrested three Bahamian men after the seizure of 2,600 pounds of compressed ganja.

Bahamas Court News has identified the men as Bartholomew Pinder, Ian Stewart and Patrick “PJ” Roberts.

Narcotics police and members of the Defence Force seized the ganja, worth $2.6 million, during an operation in Lancer Bay, Hanover on June 25.

Then, the operation team moved to Negril, Westmoreland, where they arrested the Bahamians.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the suspects are in quarantine. They allegedly entered the country illegally.
