Nassau, BAHAMAS- A cook is facing charges after police allegedly caught him having sex with a 15-year-old boy he met online.
Mario McPhee,24, was allegedly caught in the act when officers patrolling the Palmdale area around 2am on Friday, August 4 went to investigate a car parked in front of a business.
McPhee is charged with possession of child pornography after officers allegedly found sexually explicit images of the minor in his phone.
McPhee didn’t have to plead to charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor of the same sex and child pornography when he made his first court appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.
The age of consent for the same sex relationships is 18.
Bail was denied. However, McPhee can seek bail before a Supreme Court judge.
He’s next expected in court on October 26.
