Nassau, Bahamas- A cop accused of asking a woman with outstanding arrest warrants for sex to avoid arrest has been charged.
Constable 4206 Shaquille Williamson has been charged with procuration following his arrest on July 5.
Prosecutors say Williamson was on duty when he found the 32-year-old woman and her boyfriend parked on a beach.
Williamson did name checks on them both. After learning that the woman had outstanding arrest warrants, Williamson allegedly told her she had to have sex with him to avoid arrest.
Williamson didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
He was denied bail and is next due to appear in court on October 12.
