NASSAU – Police arrested a 70-year-old businessman after they allegedly found him with an unlicensed handgun.
Prosecutors allege that bar owner George Robinson, of Christie Avenue, was found with a .38-caliber revolver and six rounds of ammunition on June 29.
Robinson pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition at his arraignment on July 1.
He was freed on $8,000 bail and will return to court on July 15 for a fixture hearing.
