Four gunmen armed with assault rifles ambushed McQueen, otherwise known as “John Wick”, as he walked to his car.
Both brothers had pending cases and were wearing ankle bracelets as a condition of their bail.
Beckford appeared before Justice Renae McKay on March 28 in an attempt to have his tracking device removed, according to an article in The Nassau Guardian.
Beckford said he was in afraid for his life because of his brother’s recent murder, the article said.
The bail variation hearing was supposed to continue this week.
