Nassau, Bahamas- A Haitian passenger who wrecked a plane’s toilet door has been charged.
Stevenson Morency, 20, who lives in the Farm community in Abaco, was on a Bahamasair flight from New Providence to Abaco on December 29.
During the flight he allegedly kicked the bathroom door multiple times, causing $29,225.08 in damage.
After the incident, the pilot returned to New Providence where police arrested Morency.
Due to Morency’s bizarre behavior in court, Magistrate Kendra Kelly ordered mental tests to determine whether Morency is fit to plead.
He’s been remanded to prison and is next due to appear in court on February 25.
