NASSAU- A woman is accused of maliciously leaking her love-rival’s nudes to publicly shame her.
Leonise Denis, 31, could be jailed for up to two years if she’s convicted of intentional libel.

The man, who is a marine, has been in an on and off again relationship with the complainant, who is also a marine, for several years.
The woman testified that she left her boyfriend after he got Denis pregnant in 2017.
However, they rekindled their relationship. The woman said she sent her man the sexy images in 2019 for his enjoyment.
Two years later, the intimate images she’d shared with her lover ended up on social media.
The woman said she suspected Denis, who had previously threatened to embarrass her.
Recalling the consequences of leak, the woman said she had to step down from multiple civic groups. Additionally, she took a leave of absence for five weeks.
The woman’s boyfriend testified that he gave Denis the password to his email account.
He said she had claimed she couldn’t access her school work from her account.
The man recalled that Denis confronted him about the images after she accessed his account.
He said he told her that “they were old “ and “he’d forgotten about them.”
The marine claimed that he had seen his girlfriend’s nudes in one of Denis’ phones.
He told prosecutor Sergeant Kenny Thompson that he did not leak the images.
The trial continues before Magistrate Shaka Serville on October 15.
