NASSAU- A man is accused of his hitting his former girlfriend after his release from jail.
Malik Wright, 27, allegedly assaulted Devanique Dean, with whom he has a son, on December 28, 2020.
Wright was sentenced to nine months in prison last May after he illegally accessed Dean’s social media’s accounts and banking information.
Wright leaked Dean’s nudes online and went on a shopping spree with her credit card.
With time off for good behaviour, the tattoo artist only served six months behind bars.
Now, Wright’s accused of hitting his former girlfriend less than one month after his release from prison.
Wright pleaded not guilty to assault and was freed on $500 bail. His trial is set for April 7.
