NASSAU- A man who arranged to meet a stripper at a motel for sex ended up beaten and robbed instead, prosecutors say.
Prosecutors allege that 18-year-old stripper Mya Smith lured her victim to the motel on September 10.
But it wasn’t the night that he’d imagined.
Prosecutors claim that Smith’s boyfriend, Demetrius Bastian, and his pal, Kelito Johnson, beat up the man in the motel room and stole $3,000 and a silver chain, worth $150. Police recovered the stolen items and arrested the trio a short time later.
Smith, Bastian and Johnson appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney this afternoon charged with robbery and receiving stolen goods.
They pleaded not guilty and were denied bail. Magistrate McKinney set a trial date of October 27.
