6 months probation for video threat

The viral threatening video that landed Ra’Queisha McPhee in court.

NASSAU – A woman who threatened to rob Bahamians in a viral social media video has been sentenced to six months’ probation.

Ra’Queisha McPhee, 28, who was initially charged with causing public terror, pleaded guilty to making use of threatening language when she appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.

Prosecutors say on April 15, 2020, McPhee threatened to rob individuals within the community due to COVID-19 restrictions on her taco business.

In the video, McPhee said, “If I don’t eat, we ga put heat on all y’all rich a** b****** and niggas.”

If McPhee is convicted of another crime while on probation, she will have to pay a $400 fine to avoid spending one month in prison.
