NASSAU- A magistrate today issued an arrest warrant after a murder suspect failed to appear for his illegal gun case.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department in April named Damil Campbell, otherwise known as Blood, as a suspect in a murder investigation.
Campbell, 36, was supposed to appear before Magistrate Samuel McKinney for the continuation of his firearm case.
The court issued an arrest warrant due to his non-appearance.
Police arrested Campbell in January 18,2021 after they allegedly found a loaded .40 pistol in his boxer briefs.
Police had stopped and searched Campbell’s car on Kemp Road because he was on the streets during the national curfew.
