NASSAU- A man on bail for murder and attempted murder survived an attempt on his life Friday morning.
Vernal Johnson is in critical but stable condition in hospital after he was shot five times.
Police said the incident happened around 7am at Graham Drive in Yellow Elder Gardens.
Johnson was in his car when a gunman opened fire on him from a Toyota Passo.
Johnson drove himself to hospital.
Johnson, of Dumping Ground Corner, is on bail for the 2018 murder of Rico Taylor and the attempted murders of Anfernee Major and Jarvis Joseph.
Prosecutors allege Johnson shot the men after an argument at a club on Hutchinson Street on February 9.
