NASSAU-A 55-year-old was gunned down inside his Wilson Track home this morning by two men posing as police officers.
The men forced their way into the home by prying the door open with a crowbar around 5am and shot the man in the head. He died on the scene.
The victim, Carlos “Bookie” Brown, was a construction worker. It is believed he was a victim of mistaken identity.
Police are investigating another shooting in the area that sent a man to hospital Sunday night.
The victim was at his girlfriend’s home around 8pm when he heard gunshots.
He was shot in the head as he ran for cover. The victim is in stable condition, according to police.
