NASSAU- A murder suspect who evaded Bahamian authorities for seven years has been denied bail.
Jermaine Scott, 37, is charged with the April 27, 2013 murder of Alejandro Bain outside the Southside River Restaurant and Bar.
Scott, of Dominica Way, Golden Gates, was recently deported from the United States to The Bahamas.
Prosecutors say that Scott shot Bain in front of 50 witnesses during a domestic dispute.
Scott made his first court appearance on the murder charge and was ordered held in jail.
Scott returns to court on December 3.
