Nassau, Bahamas- Dave Miller Jr didn’t only share his father’s name. Both men’s lives were cut short due to gun violence.
Miller Jr, affectionately called Lil Dave, died in hospital following a shooting at Key West Street on Monday, January 17.
According to police, two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds were brought to the Princess Margaret Hospital shortly before 8pm. According to police, the second victim is in serious condition.
Miller Jr, 29, was killed almost six years after his father’s murder. Dave Miller Sr, 43, was shot dead at Fifth Street in Coconut Grove on February 15, 2016.
Miller Jr was freed on bail last month to await his trial for attempted murder. He was accused of shooting Lukson Veus and Ahmad Clarke at Acklins Street on September 20, 2020.
Over seven years ago, he was charged with the April 17, 2014 murder of Rashon Sumner.
