NASSAU- A man who was wounded in a double shooting at Commonwealth Boulevard in Elizabeth Estates died on the way to hospital Tuesday night, police said.
Two gunmen ambushed the men in front of a home around 7pm before they fled in a Nissan Note.
Witnesses to the shooting rushed the injured men to hospital in a private car.
An ambulance intercepted the car at the juncture of the Eastern Road and Johnson Road. One of the men died while receiving medical care.
Police did not say the condition of the second shooting victim.
Investigators are seeking the suspects.
